Pinegar, 78, of the 1300 block of East 12th Street died Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center of injuries sustained in a pedestrian-automobile accident. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.

    Mrs. Pinegar was born in Lehigh and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a retired aide with Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

    Survivors include four daughters, Della Edwards ofWashta, Deborah Wallace of Clinton, Alberta Cleark of Des Moines, and Carol Mace of New Marshfield, Ohio; three sons, Dennis, Joseph and William, all of Des Moines; three brothers, Frank McFadden of Barnett, Mo., Abner McFadden of Des Moines and John McFadden of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Donna Baker of Surprise, Ariz., and Anna Borgus of Gustine, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

    Frank S. McFadden Jr. formerly of Kansas City Mo. departed this world to be with his beloved wife of 73 years Grace on July 8th 2016. Born in Des Moines IA., Sept 1, 1923 to Frank and Della McFadden. Frank was a World War II Veteran serving from 1941 to 1945. He received the Purple Heart, Phillipine Liberation Ribbon with 1 bronze Star , A Bronze Star and a Good Conduct Medal. After the war, he moved his family to Kansas City Missouri and joined the VFW Post 2211 where he served in all the offices including Post Commander. After retiring from the Kansas City Star in 1988, Frank and his wife Grace moved to Barnett MO where he belonged to the Senior Citizens Club in Versailles. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr & Della McFadden, wife Grace (Cox) McFadden, 1 Son Franklin F.
