  San Francisco, CA - Stephen Michael Nobles, MD, 28, went to join the Lord on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
  Stephen was born in Ocala and graduated from Vanguard High School IB Program as Valedictorian. He went on to the University of Miami and received his MD from Florida State University College of Medicine. He was fulfilling his residency in Pathology at University of California San Francisco. He received the Krevans Award in Anatomic Pathology during his residency.
  To Stephen everything in life was new every day. He viewed life with open eyes and was very accepting of all those who were before him. He especially enjoyed all cultures and was particularly fluent in Spanish. His patients of other cultures benefited from his language skills. He was very kind and sensitive to the needs of others and completely dedicated to his profession.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at: www.lls.org.
  He is survived by his loving parents, Ellis and Lynn Nobles, Ocala; sister, Jennifer Nobles, DVM, Quincy, Florida; maternal grandmother, Arlene Duncan, Quincy, Florida; paternal grandparents, Ellen and Ray Nobles, Ocala; maternal great grandmother, Evelyn Crandall, Dallas, Georgia; aunt and uncle, Karen and Keith Cadwallader, Champaign, Illinois; uncle and aunt, David and Sherry Duncan, Mocksville, North Carolina; six cousins and numerous extended family.
  Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Grace Episcopal Church, 503 SE Broadway Street Ocala, FL 34471 with Rev. Jonathon French officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church immediately following the interment.
