The Loghry Ledger is a continuous research project dedicated to the documentation of ancestral history. Established in the late 1980s, this site represents decades of work to compile a complete family tree for the benefit of current and future generations.

Families Under Research

The genealogy presented here covers extensive branches of the families of the site’s founders. Key surnames include, but are not limited to:

• Primary Lines: Loghry, Axtell, Rummans, Jenkins, Gill, Thornton, and Cook.
• Associated Branches: Wright, Haworth, Jorgensen, Nielsen, Vold, Johnson, and Hansen.

Research Standards & Privacy

Records are presented in a narrative format. To protect the privacy of the family, no information regarding living individuals is included.

While historical census data is included as recorded, researchers should note that such documents are not always accurate. Information was often provided by children, neighbors, or individuals with limited English proficiency, leading to potential discrepancies in age, spelling, or birthplace.

Legacy & Acknowledgments

This project is a work in progress that has flourished through the help of many. It stands as a tribute to the lifelong dedication of Sparkle Loghry, whose foundational research gave many Loghry descendants their start. Today, his grandson Craig Davis continues to expand upon that legacy.
