  In 1882 he came to Fillmore County Nebraska.
  
  He was united in marriage to Luretta McReynolds 30 Mar 1885 at Geneva, Nebraska. To this union were born eleven children, four having preceded the parents in death. Clifford 1886, Austin in 1888, Leroy in 1908 and Lucille in 1918. Mr. Loghry was preceded in death by his wife on 19 Aug 1934.
  
  In the fall of 1884 he filed on a homestead in Frontier County and moved there in 1886. In 1890 he moved on his tree claim ten miles south of Maywood, this being the family home until 1942 when he moved to Maywood, Nebraska.
  
  He leaves to mourn his loss seven children. Robert D., Florence E., Jennie I. (Mrs. Joe Kotschwar), Max H., Joseph E., Mary I. (Mrs. Will Teel), and James H. Junior; fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a brother, Albert O. Loghry, of Grants P ass, Oregon.
  
  He was a good husband, a loving father, an honorable citizen and will be missed by all.^6,1,5
