Memorial service for Harry Melvin Anthony, 82, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the United Church of Christ Congregational in Wallace. Shoshone Funeral Service in Wallace is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Anthony, who was born in Portland, died Monday.

He lived in the Silver Valley most of his life and graduated from Kellogg High School before serving as a master sergeant in the Army during World War II.

Mr. Anthony owned Anthony's Jewelry Store in Wallace for 40 years, and was a member of the Wallace Masonic Lodge, Wallace Elks and the Osburn Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was also a member of the Shriners and the United Church of Christ Congregational of Wallace.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mabel; two children, Karelle Anthony of Seattle and Theodore Anthony of Wallace; and two brothers, Eugene and James Anthony, both of Wallace.
