Joseph Lee Loghry and Myrtie Jane Kellogg were married on 11 November 1928 in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, United States, Myrtie (or Myrtle I think her real name was) was the daughter of Alice Miller and Grant Kellogg. Alice's sister, Bessie Miller, according to some family traditions, purportedly was the first wife of Lee's father Jasper Leander. They purportedly had a child, Martha, who would have been Lee's half-sister and Myrtie's first cousin. But Joe and Myrtie were not related at all. Jasper Loghry's sister Susan Loghry married Ithel Miller, a brother of Alice and Bessie. Their children were first cousins of both Joseph and Myrtie. Still Joseph and Myrtie were not related to each other. Joe's purported half-sister Martha Loghry was double cousins with Ithel and Susan's children. Double cousins are closer relation than half-brother and sister. There was still no biological relation between Joseph and Myrtie.

Luke was born in North Carolina in 1790, son of Jesse and Hannah (Ruckman) Dillon.
The Dillons moved to Ohio in 1807 when Luke was 17, where they were farmers. Luke later moved to Vermillion County, Illinois, making the journey with his 6 horse team. He bought a farm a mile North of Georgetown when it was a wild county. It was a large farm, and he built a log house on it, which had one room and a kitchen added. Luke and his wife, Charity were from Quaker families.
Both of their families had a long history in America, immigrating in the late 1600s to early 1700s, as did Charity's family who came to America in the 1600s.Luke and Charity became parents of 10 children, all who grew to adulthood. Charity died in 1837 when her children were between 24 and 9 years old. Unlike most widowed men with children of that time, Luke did not remarry right away, but waited 11 years before taking his second wife.
He married second to Sarah Haworth (1795-1879). She was the daughter of William Haworth and Jane Brazelton.

I am confused/unsure of their son(s) James Loghry. The 1850 and 1855 census lists a son James, born about 1833. Then there is a James H. (Hastings) Loghry, born 1850. This James' death certificate states he was born in 1850 and his father's name was Isaac Loghry.
