In 1966 Laura and Hans bought a dairy shop in Holeby. Hans also started as a watchman by the Danish wactfirm Securitas. Laura started a job on the Baltic Sea line to Germany in 1972. Hans retired from his watchman job in 1984. He has provided all the information provided on the Danish branch of the family. All the grandchildren have the Nielsen name after a new law.

Her sisters all married and moved away from Faaborg. One sister, Karen, was married at the same time as Jorgen and Kjeldine to a Soren Petersen, so it was a double ceremony on June 7, 1867.
