    Her obituary was published on 17 September 2017 in Des Moines, Polk, Iowa, United States. Linda Kay Manley, 70, passed away on September 14, 2017, at the Carlisle Care Center under the care of Suncrest Hospice. Her body has been cremated and no services are planned.

    Linda was born on September 23, 1946, to Gladys (Thornton) and Wesley Loghry in Des Moines. She grew up on the south side and graduated from Lincoln High School with the January 1964 class.
    Linda is survived by her daughters Teri (Curt) Ford of Illinois and Mindy (Layne) Wardenburg of Indiana; grandsons Tyler and Ryan Ford; sister Debbie Jorgenson of Norwalk; brother-in-law Lloyd Proctor; and sister-in-law Barb Loghry.

    Linda was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sandra Proctor, and brother Dennis Loghry.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Freeman and his nurse Angie of Medical Oncology Hematology Associates, Carlisle Care Center, and Suncrest Hospice for helping Linda and her family through her courageous battle with cancer.

    He would have been 22 years old on Christmas. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hill, live at Ackworth, Ia. A daughter, Sandra Lee, 15 months old, lives with her mother in Des Moines.

    Maxine G. Jorgenson (Grandma Mickey), 89, was called to her heavenly home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 28, 2012 at Cavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa.

    She was born August 3, 1922 in Elk Point, South Dakota to Oluf and Johanna Johnson.

    Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5615 SW 14th St. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow the funeral service at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

    Maxine is survived by a sister, Dorothy Welch; her children, David (Mary Lou) Jorgenson, Gloria (Rick) Walraven, Douglas (Beth) Jorgenson, and Roger (Debbie) Jorgenson; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert V. Jorgenson; grandson, Jason Jorgenson; three sisters and six brothers.
