Wayne B. Hagan, 61, 3508 W. Fifth St., died Monday in a Sioux City nursing home after a long illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home. The Rev. Rex Wentzel, pastor of Westlawn Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Elk Point (S.D.) Cemetery with military rites conducted by DAV Chapter 54 of Sioux City.
Mr. Hagan was born June 23, 1921, in Anthon, Iowa, and came to Sioux City in 1945. He married Rose Anderson Jan. 5, 1946, in Sioux City.
He worked for Kemp Tire Co. and Jerry's Conoco Service, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of Westlawn Presbyterian Church and DAV Chapter 54. He was a veteran of World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edwin of Evans, Colo. and Terry of Miami, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Bonnie) Richardson, Mrs. Joe (Mary) Peters and Miss Linda, all of Sioux City; four brothers, Raymond and Marvin, both of Spring Valey, Calif., Homer of Climbing H ill, Iowa, and Norman of Lemon Grove, Calif.; one sister, Gretta Mickelson of La Mesa, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
