    William M. C. Anderson, 92, LeMars, died Wednesday in Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars of a brief illness.

    Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. John's American Lutheran Church at LeMars. Reverend Tom Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.

    There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday in the Luken-Johnson funeral home.

    Mr. Anderson was born December 24, 1888, in Union County, South Dakota, to Christian and Margareta Selk Anderson. He married Anna N. Schroeder, January 3, 1919, that's Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She died April 8, 1976.

    Mr. Anderson was a retired farmer. He farmed in the Akron and LeMars areas.

    Survivors are a son, L. W. "Andy" of LeMars; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) Stream of LeMars and Mrs. Mahlon (Viona) Headid of Sioux City; three brothers, Edward of High Gove, Calif., Rudolph of Omaha and F. H. of Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Heyl of Lake Benton, Minn., Mrs. Minnie King of Hayward, Calif., and Mrs. Ted (Hanna) Dimmick of Hawarden; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
