Deacon Thomas Kendall1,2
M, #5460, b. 5 October 1618, d. 22 July 1681
Story
Thomas Kendall and his brother Francis are said to have to come to this country from the town of "Kendal," Westmoreland county, England. They appear in Charleston, Mass., in 1640 and in Woburn in 1642, when the latter town was settled.
Thomas lived in Reading and became deacon of the church there.
Having no sons to bear his name the daughters each named their eldes sons "Kendall" for a Christian name; thus preserving the family name as far as possible.
