    Susan Ann Oberhelman Hill peacefully passed away on May 3rd, 2019 surrounded by loved ones at her home in Arlington, WA. Susan, daughter of Otto and Ruth (Flagg) Oberhelman was born on October 15th, 1943 in Lynn, Massachusetts. She was united in marriage to John William Hill III on July 31st, 1965. Susan graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri with her Master's degree specializing in history; she was also a sports coach and taught cheerleading in Lancaster, Wisconsin; Menahga, Minnesota; and Tallahassee, Florida. Susan followed her desire to serve Jesus and supported her husband as a pastor's wife doing various jobs in Portland, Oregon; Ontario, Oregon; Arlington, Minnesota and Missouri Valley, Iowa. Susan had a passion to care for others and retired as a caregiver for the developmentally delayed. Susan was loved by all. She adored children and devoted her life to help them have a better future. She was selfless with a heart of giving and compassion. She would light up the room wherever she went with her kindness and generosity. Susan was known for her talents and blessed many with her crafts and creativity. Susan lived her life as an example, nurturing and loving anyone that came into her path.

    Susan was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her son, John (Julie) Hill, grandson Van (Cortney) of Middleton, Idaho; daughter, Nanci (Aaron) Johnson, granddaughter Jessi of Arlington, WA; son, Steven Hill of Arlington, WA - grandchildren Katelynn, Nevaeh, Starla, Carson, Emmy, Jackson, Saphira. Also surviving are her siblings Robert (Colleen) Oberhelman, Steven (Laurie) Oberhelman, Janet (Forest) Troutner, her many faithful caregivers and over 200 foster children that loved and adored her. There will be a memorial celebration to honor Susan, May 26th, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 426 French Ave, Arlington, WA at 4:00pm. Memorials may be given in her name to St. Jude Hospital or hanging baskets/perennials may be sent in her honor to her daughter for a memorial garden to First Baptist in Arlington.

    David Alan Bailey, 45, went home to be with his Lord Saturday, March 19, 2005 of a massive heart attack at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. The celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24 at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

    David was born December 18, 1959 in Des Moines, IA. He was so in love with his wife who has faithfully stood by him in hard times as well as good times. They are truly a blessing to each other. He so enjoyed playing Nintendo with his son Brice, who by the way could really whip him. David was so fond of his daughter, Megan whom he loved to take to dance lessons and he so enjoyed going to her recitals. He was very proud of his daughter, Heidi who is now at Iowa State University. His oldest daughter, Amanda brought him so much happiness when she married a wonderful man named Brandon. They gave him such joy with his first grandson, Bailey Adam Fields. He was so very proud of his grandson and enjoyed playing with him. He loves all children so much. David was grateful for his mother-in-law Shirley, who has lived with the family and helped in so many ways.

    David loved Golf, Golf, Golf, Golf and Nascar racing.

    David will be greatly missed but he has gone home to be with his Lord and we would not want to call him back from such glory. It will be hard for us but we have a wonderful saying: God is Good, He is good for all the time. He has chosen David to go home early, he will be so missed.

    He is survived by his wife, Becky; daughters, Amanda and husband Brandon, Heidi and Megan; son Brice; parents, Paul J. and JoAnn Kitt; brother, Paul G. and Jeanie Kitt; sisters, Becky Wyman and fiancée Greg Veach and Faith and Chris Ward; grandson, Bailey; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, David W. Bailey; paternal grandparents, Merle and Darline Bailey; maternal grandparents, Hazel Stinson and Vernal Vinzant; brother, Danny; and sister, Beth Ann.

    Services for Daniel W. Bailey, 5, son of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Bailey of 4133 E. Twenth-fifth st., will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

    The child died at Blank Memorial Hospital Wednesday of head injuries suffered when he was struck by a car Saturday. He was a lifelong resident.

    Survivors besides the parents are a brother, David Alan, and a sister, Becky Jo; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Bailey of Des Moines and Vernal Vinzant of Davenport, and a great grandmother, Mrs. Pearl See of Des Moines.
