- NoteHenry Chiles was the oldest son of Micajah and Mary Chiles. He must have been born not very long before 1730, and possibly, in the newly formed Caroline County. He married Elizabeth Woolfolk. Henry Chiles of Lunenburg County has been identified as the son of Mary and Micajah, both from his will (1756), in which he named his grandmother Mary Howle, and from a later court record (1771).
Henry and Elizabeth had daughters, Elizabeth and Mary. Mary was born after Henry's death. Henry died a young man, for his will was recorded 6 Jul 1756.Citation: 1 - 1730
