Sarah [—?—]1
F, #7703
Death: before 2 December 1749
Story
No record has been found of the maiden name of Sarah Ellyson, but she was identified as Gerrard's widow, when a dispute arose about his slaves after his death. Sarah and Gerrard continued to be active in the Society throughout their life-time and all of their children were married within the Quaker community, most of them in the meeting house amont their Quaker brethren. The children's birth dates were apparently not recorded in the Society records, perhaps all having been born before Sarah and Gerrard embraced the Quaker faith.
1703
Religious Affiliation
1 April 1703 | Henrico, Colony of Virginia, Colonial America
Sarah [—?—] was affiliated with signed the Henrico Monthly Meeting minutes as an indication she was in unity with the Quaker faith on 1 April 1703 in Henrico, Colony of Virginia, Colonial America.
